ThermaTech Cleaning Across Hampshire & the South of England

ThermaTech Modular, advanced superheated-water cleaning system

ThermaTech is a modular cleaning system that generates superheated water up to 150°C, ideal for masonry cleaning, paint stripping, and coatings removal on heritage and other structures.

Engineered from the ground up in 110V, it prioritizes environmental sustainability, user safety, and ease of transport and manoeuvrability on-site. Designed for efficiency, ThermaTech can be operated by a single user or, for specific applications, by two operators simultaneously using a single machine.

ThermaTech effectively melts or removes various substances—often without the need for chemicals—including:

  • Flexible paints
  • Surface treatments
  • Chewing gum
  • Wax
  • Oil/bitumen
  • Organic matter from substrates

A Modular Design for Safety and Efficiency

ThermaTech is a modular system engineered for safety, ease of use, and convenient transportation. Key components are removable, ensuring straightforward operation, compact storage, and efficient transit.

Pump

The standard 110V pump unit delivers a flow range of 4.0 – 8.5 litres per minute, with adjustable pressure from 30 – 140 Bar (see Lances section for an optional 0 – 140 Bar setup with minimal water flow). With the addition of a drop-in transformer and a compatible pump unit, ThermaTech can also operate on 230V, reaching a maximum pressure of 160 Bar.

Triggers & Lances

ThermaTech triggers are available in two options:

  • Standard – Provides continuous flow during operation.
  • Pressure Reducing – Allows for pressure adjustment from 0 Bar to maximum pressure.

Standard lances are fitted with nozzles that produce a 40° fan jet of superheated water at temperatures up to 150°C. Additional lances and nozzles, including diffuse steam-type jets, can be tailored to meet specific requirements.

Frame

Constructed from tubular steel, the frame is designed for durability, easy maintenance, and servicing. It also features:

  • Integrated hangers for fuel supply and pump unit
  • A robust exoskeleton that houses and protects the boiler unit

Jerrycan System

A removable Jerrycan replaces a built-in fuel tank, reducing the risk of fuel spills on-site while ensuring safer handling and refuelling.

User-Friendly & Efficient Design

ThermaTech is designed for ease of use, safety, and efficiency, allowing a single operator to load and unload it safely from most vehicles. It can be transported in multiple positions for added convenience.

  • Precision Temperature Control – Digital primary temperature regulation ensures more accurate, stable temperatures, improving efficiency.
  • Removable, Lockable Fuel Tank – Minimizes the risk of significant fuel spills on-site.
  • Colour-Coded High-Pressure Hoses – Enhances safety and speeds up setup:
    • Blue hoses for cold water
    • Red hoses for hot water
  • Built-in Safety Features – Protects the machine, operators, and the public.
  • Versatile Fuel Compatibility – Runs on various fuels without adjustments to the fuel system:
    • Red or white diesel
    • EN14214-grade biofuels
    • 28-second kerosene

Key Technical Details

  • IP67-rated pump controls and electronics – Exceed regulatory standards for protection.
  • Secondary pump outlets allow for:
    • System depressurization from the base unit, eliminating the need to do so at the trigger
    • Easy priming when using a static water supply (e.g., barrel or bowser)
    • The ability to run two boiler units in tandem from a single pump
  • Eco-Conscious Design – Manufactured with minimal non-recyclable waste, promoting sustainability.
  • 24V Controls – Provide a safer working environment and exceed current regulations.
  • Five-Stage Fuel Contamination Separation – Ensures clean fuel for optimal boiler efficiency.
  • Advanced Power Protection – All switches include under-voltage and over-current protection, safeguarding against power supply issues and overloading.
  • Fuel Filter Monitoring – A visual gauge on the control panel allows for proactive maintenance, preventing unexpected downtime.
  • Optimized Nozzle Angle (40° Fan Jet) – Unlike the standard 25° nozzles used in many systems, ThermaTech’s wider 40° fan jet provides:
    • Faster work rates, reducing labour costs
    • Lower risk of substrate damage
